The Annual Golden Apple Golf Tournament to support Newspapers in Education tees off Monday, May 4, 2009. Catch Your Limit Consulting as a sponsor will host the Tournament’s first ever Fishing Hole.

Meet us in between the nines for the Catch Your Limit Challenge. It should prove, once and for all, that fishing is far more challenging than golf.

Winners will not only have bragging rights, but plenty of prizes to boot. So, for the most fun hole of the day, meet us at the Fishing Hole.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit literacy in the community, helping kids stay in schools and prepare for life through the Newspapers in Education program and Communities in Schools.

Last year, through the generous support of local businesses, the Tallahassee Democrat was able to provide newspapers to more than 800 teachers in a nine county area and distribute almost 18,000 papers each week to classrooms.

Businesses and supporters can also sponsor educational activities, booklets, serial stories and newspapers in the classroom.
